Meet Crinkle ��

Crinkle is a 2-year-old Cocker Spaniel/Poodle mix who has been part of B-Squad since he was just 10 days old.

From the beginning, we knew Crinkle was going to need a little extra care. He was born with congenital neurological abnormalities that affected his development and appearance, and those same challenges continue to shape the way he experiences the world today.

Crinkle has limited vision in one eye, which contributes to his noticeable head tilt as he adjusts to better see what is around him. He is also deaf. Neither of these things stops him from enjoying life, but together they do mean that Crinkle can startle easily and needs a home that understands how important routine, predictability, and a calm environment are for him.

Crinkle does best when he has time to adjust to new people, new surroundings, and changes in his routine. Once he feels comfortable, his personality begins to shine. He is a dog who benefits greatly from patience, consistency, and someone willing to understand the world from his perspective rather than expecting him to adapt overnight.

Because of his hearing and vision limitations, we are looking for a quieter home without children regularly present. A more laid-back environment will help Crinkle feel secure and allow him to be successful.

Crinkle recently experienced the loss of the foster dad who loved and understood him deeply, and we are now hoping to find the right person who can give him that same sense of safety and stability moving forward.

Crinkle is not a dog who will be the perfect fit for every household, and that is okay. He needs someone who sees his differences, understands his needs, and is willing to give him the time and structure he deserves.

For the right person, Crinkle has so much love and companionship to offer.
