Meet Ziggy ��

When Ziggy arrived at B-Squad, he weighed just over 2 pounds.

At only 3 months old, this tiny Mini Aussie should have been growing, playing, eating everything in sight, and discovering the world around him. Instead, Ziggy came to us so fragile that he wasn’t even eating on his own.

For his first week in rescue, Ziggy had to be syringe-fed just to make sure his little body was getting the nutrition it desperately needed.

And when a puppy this small stops eating, there isn’t much room for error.

Thankfully, Ziggy has started to turn a corner. �� He is now eating, gaining weight, and getting stronger every day. Watching the scale slowly move in the right direction may not seem like much, but for Ziggy, every ounce feels like a victory.

We aren’t completely out of the woods yet.

There are additional medical concerns that we will be following up on as Ziggy continues to grow, and right now our priority is giving him everything he needs to become the healthy, happy puppy he deserves to be.

We are hopeful that, if he continues to do well, Ziggy will be ready to begin accepting adoption applications toward the end of August.

Until then, we could really use your help.

Tiny dogs can still come with very big medical bills. Between exams, diagnostics, follow-up care, nutrition, preventions, vaccinations, and anything else Ziggy may need along the way, the cost of getting him healthy adds up quickly.
