Frenchies... little dogs with BIG personalities. There are no truer words. Enter Lugnut.... little dude.. BIG personality and he just so happens to be cleared for adoption!

Lugnut is such a happy, sweet boy. He gets along well with other dogs but he really loves his people! Wherever you go, he follows. He is inquisitive and playful and likes to stay busy with a chew toy. He tends to destroy soft dog toys so kongs, hard chew toys, or food puzzles are ideal for him. While he does have a playful and goofy personality; he loves some quality cuddle time as well. His affectionate nature and his love for his humans makes him the best snuggle buddy! He is fully crate trained and house trained as long as he's kept on a schedule and you watch him for his cues. He is leash trained and loves his walks when it’s not too cold or too hot. Lugnut is food motivated and knows several commands such as sit, shake, and speak.

Lugnut would also do better in a home with older children, (10+) He has a tendency to chew/eat/destroy toys left on the ground and while he is a sweetheart he does play little rough. LugNut also has dry eye that will require daily eye ointment for the remainder of his life. Not a big deal but is an added cost!

While we love Frenchies and their big personalities please note and consider in your decision to apply that they usually come with some pretty hefty vet bills throughout their lifetime and is a major reason we see them in or returned to rescue!

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Loving family that will enjoy this little man's big personality!
• Physically fenced in yard preferred but not required
• Children in the home 10+ as he can be a little wild man

Lugnut has been neutered while in our care. He is up to date on vaccinations (distemper, lepto, bordatella, and rabies) , started on flea/tick and heartworm preventions, and has been microchipped. Please complete an application to welcome him home today!
