Kringle arrived to B-Squad in December of 2020. Kingle was surrendered to rescue because his skull did not form correctly and he has a small bubble of brain fluid that formed outside of his skull. He has been seen by our neurology team at the Animal Emergency & Referral Center in Minnesota. Kringle is currently on two medications to help him reduce the amount of brain fluid that he produces so that he does not develop any neurological issues. He has not displayed any symptoms in the last year. We expect him to receive his veterinary clearance for adoption once he is neutered in December 21.
Everyone falls in love with Kringle and his quirky fun loving spirit. He loves to play, snuggle, eat, and explore. He gets along well with other dogs, cats, and gentle well behaved children. He warms up well to new people who play and give him positive attention. Kringle loves food and is aggressive when eating. He needs his own space to enjoy his meals. Kringle will run and play all day in the backyard, but does not like the constraints of being walked on a leash. He takes his daily medications happily for his mild neurological condition. Enter
Due to his medications he at times has urine accidents and we have been using belly bands while he is inside. Kringle loves to poop outside while exploring the backyard.
Kringle need a quieter home that will provide the extra special attention he needs. Willing to give him medications daily and continue his vet care as required. Kringle cannot have human food or he will get an upset stomach. Children would need to old enough to know not to throw food on the ground. Kringle loves to play fetch and requires playtime to burn energy. You would need to be willing to change a belly band or be very consistent in letting him out every hour or two.
- Quieter, patient home that will continue to provide the extra care that Kringle requires
- Respectful children ages 12+
- Smaller gentler dogs as he cannot rough house and risk hitting his head
Kringle has been neutered, is up to date on vaccinations, preventatives, and is microchipped. Please complete an application to welcome him home today. Thank you!
