Meet Gunnar ����

5 months old | Male Miniature Schnauzer

Did you know the word Schnauzer comes from the German word “Schnauze,” meaning snout or muzzle? It’s often translated as “whiskered snout” or “big mustache.”

And then there’s Gunnar.

One look at that magnificent little face and we’re pretty sure this guy understood the assignment. ��

At just 5 months old, Gunnar already has the mustache, the eyebrows, and the personality of a tiny old man who has some very strong opinions about how things should be done.

Gunnar is Schnauzer through and through — energetic, a little bossy, and an enormous cuddle bug. He loves being part of the action and, more than anything, just wants to be with his people.

Whatever you’re doing? Gunnar would like to participate.

Going somewhere? He’s coming.

Sitting down? Excellent. He’ll take that lap.

Have you considered doing things Gunnar’s way instead? Because he has. ��

He’s still a young puppy, so his forever family should be ready to continue teaching him all of those important puppy skills while providing plenty of activity, structure, playtime, and opportunities to use that smart little Schnauzer brain.

And when the day is done, Gunnar is more than happy to trade all that puppy energy for some serious cuddle time.

Your adoption fee includes the spay/neuter procedure through our program at Best Care Pet Hospital. All dogs are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations including rabies, distemper, Bordetella, and lepto. They have been started on monthly heart worm and flea/tick preventions and are microchipped. Please complete an application to welcome them home today!
