Hachiko came to us from an Amish commercial breeding facility. When we drove up to their location we found him scared, crammed into an extra small wire crate. He wasn't supposed to be on our rescue transport. As we began loading the dogs we had been scheduled to pick up, they pointed to him and asked if we wanted to take him too or they were planning on destroying him later in the afternoon. We quickly loaded him into a larger crate in our air conditioned vehicle and if there was ever a dog that let our a sigh of relief it would be Hachiko.

Hachiko has been in rescue learning how to be a dog, but some scars from the horrible life he lived have been harder for him to recover from. Hachiko will need a home that knows his history and gives him the patience and space he needs to continue to blossom. He can be scared of new people and loud noises, but he wants nothing more than to hang with his people and experience the love that he was denied for the first seven years of his life. Could this special home be you or someone you know? 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

Patient and loving home that will provide a safe environment for Hachiko to cotninue to blossom

Physically fenced in yard to keep him safe due to his fear of loud noises

Children in the home ages 5+ so that behavior can be more controlled and predicatable around Hachiko

Hachiko was neutered and received a dental while in rescue. All dogs are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, preventions, and have been microchipped. Please complete an application to welcome Hachiko home today!
