Riley arrived to B-Squad as part of a large rescue effort from a commercial breeding facility this fall. She has received her veterinary clearance and is ready to find her forever home!

From Riley's foster home: 

Riley is a petite 50 lb 20 m/o golden retriever.  She’s crate trained, and working on house training.  She’s being given progressively longer periods outside of her crate unsupervised, and so far so good.  She gets along well with other dogs, and would benefit from having an older pup in the house to set the example.  She likes durable chew toys, but will shred the stuffies and crate mats if given the chance.  She will still need a bit of work on leash training and basic commands, but she does like her treats and will do well with focused attention. Meanwhile, she’s a cuddle bug – she likes to snuggle in with all members of her pack.  She knows no boundaries! 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Patient family to continue working on confidence and basic training
• Physically fenced in yard 
• Resident dog to help her learn how to dog and gain confidence

Riley was spayed while in rescue. All of the dogs in our program are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, bordatella, lepto, and rabies), started on monthly preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and are microchipped.
