Rafe arrived to B-Squad as part of our large rescue effort from a commercial breeding facility in October. He has received his veterinary clearance and is ready to find his forever home!

From Rafe's foster home: 

Rafe is an amazing, lovable boy. He's very curious, and enjoys doing all the puppy things. He has a lot of energy, and LOVES it outside. Even when it's chilly. He gets along well with all of his foster siblings (an adolescent boy, three dogs, and one cat). He can be a little rough with the cat, but mine tolerates it. He can be somewhat mouthy when playing, but continues to improve. (Speaking of mouthy, he is VERY dramatic ��). He will show you his stubborn side by talking back. He's a snuggler and enjoys being around others.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Patient family to continue working on confidence and basic training
• Physically fenced in yard preferred but not required

Rafe has been neutered while in rescue. All of the dogs in our program are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, bordatella, lepto, and rabies), started on monthly preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and are microchipped. Special Statement About Adoption Fee:

Rafe was a part of our largest rescue effort in our history. All of the dogs from this transport have received extensive veterinary care including extra screenings for canine brucellosis, treatment of infections, fecal testing, and extra veterinary exams to receive their medical clearance for adoption. Their adoption fees are slightly higher than normal to help us cover some of these expenses. We hope that you recognize the extraordinary care they have received to get them rehabiliated and ready for their forever homes.
