Marley came to B-Squad in October of 2020. When he went in to have his neuter/dental our veterinary team at Best Care Pet Hospital noted elevated liver issues on his presurgical bloodwork. His surgery was postponed and we have been doing several different liver tests including bile acid tests, ultrasound, and numerous bloodwork. Marley is currently on a liver medication where we will be testing his blood for improvement in the coming weeks. You'd never know that he has any issues as this little guy is full of life.
Mr. Marley gets along well with the other dogs he’s met and is a big fan of (sticky, food-dropping) children. When he’s not napping or thinking about napping, he loves to play with squeaky toys, follow his favorite people around the house, and play fetch inside where there is no snow. Speaking of snow, Marley is quick to do his business outside, because he’s not a fan of the cold. As soon as he’s done, don’t even bother trying to race him to the door, because you don’t stand a chance, my friend. Marley sleeps nicely in his kennel, though he does like to know that his people are nearby, even at night. If you’re looking for someone to make you laugh with silly French bulldog snores, excited doggy jumps, and the best, inquisitive head turns, we’re excited to introduce you to your new buddy, Marley.
Marley is not currently available for adoption as we continue with his liver testing. Once that is complete, we will safely move forward with his neuter and dental. We anticipate this little guy being for adoption in early February. As you can imagine the cost of his care is quiite extensive, please consider making a donation via the link on this page to help us continue to offer medical care to dogs like Marley. Thank you!
