Jenny is a four month old golden doodle who resembles a golden retriever in appearance and a poodle in intelligence!  She’s been with her foster family for not quite two weeks and has quickly learned the household routine.  She’s working on potty training, and so far has kept her crate clean.  She’s also working on leash manners, but right now… SO MUCH ENERGY!  She’s also just starting with the basic commands, and it won’t take long for her to get those down.  So far, she minds well – especially her Papa.

Although she’s a genuine cuddle bug, she loves to play with her stuffies.  Teething, so it’s important to supervise or the stuffies, or – well, you know.  They won’t last long!  She gets along great with the older pups in the house, and wants to be everywhere they are.  To that end, she has already figured out how to escape her play pen, but will agree to remain in her area quietly on the condition there’s a kong toy filled with treats… for example.    Like I said, she’s a smart girl.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Family willing to provide the structure and love needed for the dog to live a fulfilling life both mentally and physically

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter through our program at Best Care Pet Hospital when age appropriate. All of the dogs in our program are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, bordatella, lepto, and rabies), started on monthly preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and are microchipped.
