Bogey arrived to B-Squad after being surrendered by his breeder due to being deaf. He has quickly settled into rescue and is doing amazing in his foster home. He has received veterinary clearance and is ready to find a family of his own!

Bogie is a Boxer and he happens to be deaf. He has been learning sign language! He very much uses his nose & eyes to guide him. Super smart! He is working on potty training, no bite (teething) & increasing his sign knowledge. He does not like being crated at all & will bark. He prefers to be right next to his people or with another dog. He will designate a few safe & soft landing spots to rest. He will require a fenced in yard & would do well with a companion dog to help be his ears. He rides well in a vehicle & went to work with me every day. He did not need to be crated in the car. Training may be a little extra at first, but Bogie is so worth it! He loves people, kids & other dogs! 

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Patient family willing to keep working with Bogie on basic obedience and special care that goes along with a having a deaf dog
• Physically fenced in yard required
• Another resident dog that can help be Bogie's ears to help guide him

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter through our program at Best Care Pet Hospital when age appropriate. All of the dogs in our program are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, bordatella, lepto, and rabies), started on monthly preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and are microchipped.
