Edsel arrived to B-Squad as part of a large rescue effort from a commercial breeding facility. He has received his veterinary clearance and is ready to find his forever home!

From Edsel's foster home: 

Edsel is a typical happy go lucky puppy. He loves to play with his littermates, toys and snuggle up on your lap for quiet time. When weather for outside ti e is appropriate, he loves to run through the yard to check out the smells and such. Edsel is doing well for his age with housetraining. Sleeps through the night, eats well and a good water drinker. Just an all around easy pup to have around. Smart and will be fun to take through a group obedience class. Edsel would love a fenced yard to run off his zoo miss, but if a family can mange his activity level safely without a fence he will do fine. Corrects easily if getting into something inappropriate in the house. Such a good, sweet boy.

ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:

• Patient family to continue working on confidence and basic training
• Physically fenced in yard preferred but not required

The adoption fee includes spay/neuter through our program at Best Care Pet Hospital when age appropriate. All of the dogs in our program are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, bordatella, lepto, and rabies), started on monthly preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and are microchipped. Special Statement About Adoption Fee:

Edsel was a part of our largest rescue effort in our history. All of the dogs from this transport have received extensive veterinary care including extra screenings for canine brucellosis, treatment of infections, fecal testing, and extra veterinary exams to receive their medical clearance for adoption. Their adoption fees are slightly higher than normal to help us cover some of these expenses. We hope that you recognize the extraordinary care they have received to get them rehabiliated and ready for their forever homes.
