Sweet Della has a lot of nicknames in our house, Delilah Lula, Della Beans, Lulu, and Dell pickle. She is quite possibly the most beautiful dog we have ever fostered. She is a petite little Dalmatian that attaches herself to her person. 

Della does amazing with other dogs and is actually more comfortable with dogs that humans. She came from a kennel situation and has a deep mistrust for men and will cower and shake anytime a man is near her. However, she will attach herself to one person (so far just women)  and you will never see another dog with so much love to give. Her entire body will wiggle and she smiles anytime you walk in the room. 

Della walks perfectly on a leash, loves car rides, treats, and the dog park! She also has been known to eat grass and poo outside ( we are working on that). Della enjoys going into stores like Runnings and Fleet and Farm. She is a head turner and out in public she is actually just fine with people coming up to say hello to her. However, in the house she is just not comfortable with most people and does not like visitors that she doesn’t know. She will need to be kenneled when you have company over. 

Della has been known to get a little chew happy as well so when we are gone she is always in her kennel to keep her safe, she really likes power cords! Goofy girl! 

Della is a very special girl and deserves a lifetime of love with her best friend. At this time she will be looking for an all girl, quiet household so she can live out the rest of her laugh happy as a clam! 

Della also has some luxation in both of her rear legs. She has been examined by a specialist and it was determined that surgery would not be in her best interest as she is not in any pain and is physically presenting well. Della is on supplements and will likely to remain on those for her life.

• PHYSICALLY FENCED IN YARD TO KEEP DELLA SAFE
• ALL FEMALE HOME OR HOME WITH A VERY PATIENT MALE FIGURE
• RESIDENT DOG IN HOME TO CONTINUE TO HELP DELLA COME OUT OF HER SHELL- SHE LOVES HER FOSTER SIBLINGS!

Della has been spayed, received an extensive dental, is up to date on vaccinations, preventatives, and is microchipped. Please complete an application to welcome Della home today!
