The important part: Clancy has received his clean bill of health and is ready to find his forever home! Clancy is a 10 month old Biewer Yorkie that survived being sent to a pet store in Pennsylvania, pnemonia that went untreated, a liver shunt that caused him to have neurological and blood sugar issues, mistakes made that almost cost him his life, and ultimately receiving the life saving surgery that he needed for him to now have a clean bill of health, a very bright future, and finally ready to find his perfect forever family!
Clancy is a typical yorkie terrier... he thinks he's big even though he weighs in under 10lbs. He's full of life and loves to run and play with toys and other dogs. As a terrier, he isn't afraid to be vocal to tell you that he doesn't like something, that someone is at the door, or that the neighbor cat has invaded our backyard territory. This little man loves attention and snuggles in perfectly to watch a movie. Clancy's ideal home would be one that can provide him adequate exercise as he has a very active little mind and offer him the structure that he needs to finish mastering housetraining as that is something he is still working on. In return... he promises to love you with intention and be the very best boy he can be!
Clacy is the most expensive dog we have offered care to in the history of our rescue. We will be very selective in his forever home that our and so many of his suporters investment will be well cared for the rest of his life and never failed again!
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS:
- Family willing to provide the structure and love needed for the dog to live a fulfilling life both mentally and physically
- Physically fenced in yard preferred
Clancy has been neutered through our partnership with Best Care Pet Hospital. All of the dogs in our program are up to date on age appropriate vaccinations (distemper, bordatella, lepto, and rabies), started on monthly preventatives for heartworm and fleas/ticks, and are microchipped.
